APC 1500VA UPS BX1500M not working after only 6 months. HR 1234W F2 Battery Voltage Is Higher Than Nominal Value
Only 6 months ago I bought this thing (APC 1500VA BX1500M UPS) and all of the sudden it can only withstand a mere 2W load for 45ish minutes. When it used to last for like 8 hours.
WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?
I took the battery out and measured its output DC voltage and it's 60 V lol what does that even mean? is it not discharged? Why is that measurement not 0? Why is it 60V?
I split the batteries and measured each of the values and it's 30V each, Which is over double their nominal value.
Why is my UPS not working if it's brand new and the battery is charged?

Please submit a RMA with APC Technical Support for your specific region. You’ll need the purchase receipt, serial number, and brief description of the problem.
The hardware will be replaced under warranty. Let me know the final outcome either way. 👍
