How to login Network Management Interface APC UPS SRT10KXLI

I have an apc ups srt10kxli, and behind the ups there is a network port.
I looked up the network address on the ups menu: 10.26.14.30.
Then I put my computer on the same network layer as the ups network: 10.26.14.50 (sub: 255.255.255.0; gateway: 10.26.14.1)
Then, I used an rj45 cable to connect from the ups network port to the computer network port.
Then, I went to the browser (chrome) and typed the ups address: 10.26.14.30 (or https://10.26.14.30) but it showed a warning that it could not be accessed.
So let me ask:
- What is the wrong way of doing it?
- What is the correct way of doing it? Please give me the document
