Hi,
When you open the PowerChute web interface https://127.0.0.1:6547 or https://server IP:6547 and it reports Device Communications not Established then the PBEServer will not be able to discover the device and you will see the error "failed to apply configuration profile". If the web interface does display the UPS information then the most common cause of your issue is the user name and password do not match for the Agent and the Server. Knowledge base document FA159590 discusses "failed to apply configuration profile"
Also, as Angela wrote if the UPS is a Back-UPS Pro 1500 PowerChute Business Edition Agent will not discover the UPS. With a Back-UPS Pro you should install PowerChute Personal Edition. Other software options are Windows Power Options in the control panel or APCUPSD.

Ok, i founded...
this is my error
If the system where the Agent is installed has more than 1 network card, the
PowerChute Business Edition Server may not be able to locate the Agent. If this
is the case, check TCP/IP properties for it's binding order. Make sure the IP of
the card you are adding to the configuration is the first item in the TCP/IP
binding order.
the server 2012 has 2 nic cards in team mode.
server/agent/console are on the same server
how can i fix it?
thanks

Within Windows, you need to verify the binding order of your NICs. PowerChute Business Edition will use the first one.

Hi,
Open a web browser on the system running the agent, server, and console and enter https://127.0.0.1:6547 to verify the Agent is accessible. If it is open the Console click on Tools - Device List and add 127.0.0.1

Hi,
Please enable 1 of the physical NICs with an IP v4 address, uninstall PCBE Agent and reinstall allowing the software to auto discover the UPS. If the software auto discovers then check the web interface again to verify that the UPS is communicating with the Agent.

i will try it.
anyway, agent is auto discovering the UPS in the 192.168.x.x (the same computer where the server is installed) or in 127.0.0.1.

Maybe I missed this in the beginning but is this a Back UPS? PowerChute Business Edition does not work with Back UPS products via USB. You can verify the part number of the UPS on the back or bottom of it.
