APC 1050 battery issues

Can someone help me. I have two 12v 10 ah batteries from another project and want to use them in my APC 1050 backup. Can I use them and will they cause any damage because of the extra amperage? They are Werker 12v10a.

We only recommend using APC batteries. Since we only work with APC batteries, we cannot be sure how 3rd party batteries work with our UPS'. Many of our customers do use third party batteries without problems however we just can't speak for them since they aren't our batteries. If anyone else has any thoughts, please respond.
