AP9641 Flapping
We just installed two Smart-UPS SRT 2200 UPSs at different locations on our network. Each of them has an AP9641 NMC card.
After they were installed, the switch port for the NMC started bouncing numerous times every minute...about once every 10-20 seconds. We tried using a different switch port, different Cat-6 patch cable, even swapping out the entire UPS. None of these stopped the UPS' port from bouncing.
I noticed today that running a continual ping to the UPS' NMC will stop the flapping. When I stop the ping, the port flapping returns. I was able to upgrade the firmware on the NMC to v2.2.0.1, but that didn't help.
