Hi,
I have a nework management card (AP9631) which reboots its-self randomly every couple of hours. This card was brand new about 3 months ago and of all our other UPSs (we have about 30), this is the only one to do this.
I get either 4 or 5 Informational emails from the MGMT card each time this happens, even though I have selected to only recieve Critical and Warning events.
The emails I get are subjected:
-System: Network Interface restarted.
-Restored the local network management interface-to-UPS communication.
-The power for the main outlet group, UPS Outlets, is on.
-Environment: Restored the local network management interface-to-integrated E...
-The power for switched outlet group 1, Outlet Group 1, is on.
My first questions is: Why does it keep restarting? Could it be faulty?
My second: How can I stop the alerts until problem one is resolved?

Can you tell me what you see under UPS->About in the web interface? I want to know the firmware version on the UPS itself.
I think there is a possible issue with something going on with the process that communicates from the NMC to the UPS. My first thought is to check the UPS firmware, see if it is older, upgrade it and also format the Network Management Card to wipe it after the UPS is up to date.
