AP9630 v5.1.1 tcpip issue with console CLI

My company has just received new SMX750 UPS and AP9630 Network Management 2 cards as we were using an older model/nic which has been discontinued.

The cards came loaded with v5.0.1 which is not compatible with the UPS. Tech support sent me a 5.1.1 firmware upgrade package which seems to work fine. I have two questions:

1. When I use the console connection to configure the 9630 card to boot with DHCP in the subnet in my lab I simply set the boot parameter to DHCP and get an address from the DHCP server within a minute or two. I look at the output command tcpip on the console cli to get the ip address, exit the console session and then connect to the GUI through a web browser and finish the rest of the configuration from there. So far so good. The problem is that when I move the UPS to another subnet on our network ( as would happen if I was sending the unit out to another location to be installed by a tech ) the card successfully gets a new ip address from DHCP but when I look at the output of the tcpip command it shows the old address and subnet. The only way to see the new ip address is to find it by looking at the eventlog. When I connect through the web browser the tcp/ip settings are correct for the new connection. Rebooting the card has no effect. Is there any way to force the CLI to show the correct tcp/ip stack at this point? I'm worried that this issue from a deployment perspective is going to cause problems and may be considered unacceptable by my superiors.

2. Five of the six cards I received had faceplates which did not match the indexing tabs on the card slot in the SMX750 and tech support had to send me replacement faceplates. Is there any way to specify in the future that we need cards that will fit in this unit?

Thanks in advance

Ernie
