Hello,
I have a problem with multiple network cards AP9630 installed in Smart-UPS 3000XLI.
sumx
v5.1.6
aos
v5.1.6
bootmon
1.0.2
During the update I put the pack of languages ??English, French, German, Italian, spainish, Portuguese.
I had several network card to configure, so I did the configuration once and then I changed some values ??and I have uploaded the configuration on other cards.
I send several email notifications, but there is an address that does not pass.
Every time I get the following error during a test.
Test e-mail failed, SMTP configuration error.
Or when I make a change that is sent.
7/11/2011 4:19:49 p.m. System: Email: Could not mail'***********'.
Yet it works with certain addresses without worries.
I have this problem on several different sites and after trying to change all the values ??I start losing my mind.
The email on which the UPS can not send alert contains a "-" after the "@" I do not know if this is a problem
I saw on the forum that other people had problems with emails, but I found nothing on my specific problem.
In advance, thank you
Sorry for my google translate english 😉

hi,
can you please post the config.ini file and event.txt? I will need to see it to see if we can replicate the issue or see what the specific value is. i am not aware of an issue like this.
instructions on how to download the requested files are here at this link -> http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9321

thanks. can you elaborate on how your mail works? are you using any type of relay? it seems as though you are using recipient's mail setting for everyone. can you let me know which recipients are and aren't working with the settings like this? i just want to be clear that all work EXCEPT #1? can you try a DNS lookup to the domain that you want to send mail to with the ' - ' ? is there a reason why some recipients are tec-laser and some are techlaser? should they be?

Thank you for your response, it helped me understand my mistake.
I used the recipient SMTP server because it does not work at all with the local server.
It was a setup to the smtp server of the ISP on which areas should be allowed to send mails
So now i can send all emails with the local smtp server and my problem is solved.
Thanks you 🙂
