On this older AP9619 with 2.X firmware, we don't have a nice export option for the logs on the web. You'd have to copy/paste them into a text file or word document. On 3.X firmware (the latest you can upgrade to), it is a similar situation except it just looks a little nicer when you PDF it and view the log (which can be viewed in a window of its own).
If you want to upgrade it, all of the upgrade methods are available here, one which is FTP which I guess won't work. The Wizard we provide also uses FTP. Refer to NMC1 instructions here. http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156047
You can get the firmware file from http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm and Filter by Software/Firmware and select Firmware Upgrades - UPS Network Management Cards and look for SFSUMX372 part number.
I'd suggest copying and pasting what you can before upgrading so we can see what events are being generated in the log and if it's even logging power events to email.

Dave,
Have you checked the event actions settings on the NMC? There you can configure individual and or groups of events to send or not send e-mails. Click on the Administration tab on the NMC then selects Notification - Event Actions. If you do not have administrative right to the NMC you will need to get them to make changes.

Reset all the event actions to defaults and added the email address, sent test email which worked, power fails on site no longer trigger an email. The power related events stopped after working for several months.
I have admin rights to the NMC but not my PC.

Hello,
I looked at this with Bill. Here are my thoughts/observations/questions:
1.) Your firmware is extremely old on this AP9619. We may consider upgrading after trying a few other options and verifying the current configuration. d
2.) The test email is working so that is good to know. Hopefully this is a configuration issue.
3.) Can you download the config.ini, event.txt, and data.txt files from the AP9619 and attach them here for review? Instructions here (Refer to NMC1) -> http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156131
4.) Can you elaborate on the exact text of the event you expect to see for power related events, or give me an example? I'll look to see if they are in the actual logs. We'll make sure they are logged properly and cross check that against the configuration of the events.
Once I look at all of that, then we should know more and see if it makes sense to consider a firmware upgrade or if we've found the problem. Even so, you may want to consider a firmware upgrade to get any bug fixes (even though this product is discontinued as of a years ago anyway).

Hello, unfortunately FTP access is blocked by the network, and I could not see a way to download the files from the web interface.
What’s the process to update the NMC1 software and will it impact the UPS operation in any way?
