Hi,
I have a problem with AP7920. We lost password to it, so I attempted to use instructions to reset it. I set minicom to 9600, 8N1 and no hw/sw flow. After few ENTERs I got 'User Name'
'User Name'; but I'm not able to get to Password line. I tried it on two PDUs and both are same so I expect that I'm doing something wrong, anyone have idea what is wrong?

[take a look here if you havent already|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=7879]
basically you need to be pushing the reset in the midst of this procedure. reference the above article and then do the following:
press enter a couple of times to get the user name prompt. push the reset button on the PDU/management card with a pen or paper clip, wait about 1-2 seconds, push it again, and i push it a third time.
keep pressing enter at the prompt and enter apc for the username and apc for the password. then you should be able to log in and go to the system menu to change the username and password.
if you log out before changing the username and password then you will have to do this all again.
