AP5717 vs New Mac Mini Server

I want to connect the new Mac Mini Server to the Rack LCD Console AP5717 but I do not understand how to connect the signal to the monitor ?

The new mac video connections are:
1) Thunderbolt port with support for up to 2560-by-1600 resolution;
2) HDMI port with support for up to 1920-by-1200 resolution;
3) HDMI to DVI Adapter.

There are adapters for this type of connection ?

Thanks in advance
Luca Guastalla

Thanks Angela,

I connect just the mac mini server to the AP5717 and the solution with the kvm seems too expensive.

At the apple store the DVI-VGA cost 19.00 euros.

I'd like to know if someone has already experienced this type of connection:
DVI-HDMI => DVI to VGA

Ciao
Luca

hi luca,

unfortunately, AP5717 only offers VGA video connections. we can't recommend using any adapters since we haven't tested it. it seems like the only adapter might be a VGA to DVI and then use a DVI to HDMI.

are you only connecting this one device? another option might be looking at a KVM that has VGA input and connect the LCD to that and then see if any other manufacturers have server modules for HDMI type - which APC does not unfortunately.
