Hi, I'm building out a small server room for a new home and the SURTD5000RMXLP3U looks like a great fit for my server rack. I have a few questions about it:
- The specs say it supports 208V and 120V output; I assume it can do that simultaneously, is that correct? Most of my computers and networking gear can run at 208V, but I may have one or two devices that need 120V, and I want to make sure I can rack them in the same enclosure.
- With no load, what's the approximate power usage of the SURTD5000RMXLP3U?
- An EPO connection is optional, correct?
Thanks in advance; this forum looks like a fantastic resource and it's great to see a company like APC/Schneider offering this kind of support!

Hi Angela,
Thanks for the very speedy response. Again, this is such a great resource.
Re: the EPO connection, I wasn't clear what I meant: I know there's a terminal on the UPS, but what I meant is, the UPS will operate even if the EPO terminal is not connected to an EPO switch, correct?
thanks!

You're very welcome. I am glad people like our community and can count on it as a resource.
And yes, EPO is optional - no requirement for you to have one unless required by your local code of course.
