A few questions re: the SURTD5000RMXLP3U

Hi, I'm building out a small server room for a new home and the SURTD5000RMXLP3U looks like a great fit for my server rack. I have a few questions about it:

- The specs say it supports 208V and 120V output; I assume it can do that simultaneously, is that correct? Most of my computers and networking gear can run at 208V, but I may have one or two devices that need 120V, and I want to make sure I can rack them in the same enclosure.

- With no load, what's the approximate power usage of the SURTD5000RMXLP3U?

- An EPO connection is optional, correct?

hello. i'll try to help answer.

1. Yes, same time - if you look at the rear seen here -> SURTD5000RMXLP3U - More Images - it shows some 120V receptacles right on it along with some 208V ones which you may need to get a Rack PDU for to give you additional 208V outlets.
2. Based on the online thermal dissipation value listed of 1589 and knowing 1 watt = 3.41BTU, that gives me about ~466 watts you could expect worst case.
3. If you look at that same picture I posted above, there is actually a EPO terminal already on the UPS. It is on the bottom towards the right and lime green in color. More information in the user's guide on that.

Re: the EPO connection, I wasn't clear what I meant: I know there's a terminal on the UPS, but what I meant is, the UPS will operate even if the EPO terminal is not connected to an EPO switch, correct?

And yes, EPO is optional - no requirement for you to have one unless required by your local code of course.
