Hello group
here is my dilemma, my supervising engineer seems to believe there is a temp and humidity hysteresis setting on the web interface on the 9617 cards.
I for the life of me can not find it.
I have downloaded the config file and the hysteresis settings are under the INTEGRATEDEMU area. Now I have not been able to find anything on the forums or on the net concerning this.
Is it a firmware/ios issue that I have to upgrade in order to see this setting on the web interface?
Thank you for any insight you can provide me

Ahh, I understand. Only AP9619 and AP9618 as well as the newer AP9631 Network Management Cards support Environmental Monitoring and hysteresis settings - you'd see that setting until the Environment Tab in the Web UI.
So was the only reason you thought the card had it because of the configuration file? I ask only because way back in the day, AP9617 could be upgraded to an AP9618 or AP9619 by a little kit that included an extra PCB and faceplate you can snap on to the base AP9617. I didn't know if you thought this card actually had these features but now shows as an AP9617 in the interface but previously shows environmental options in the interface. If that was the case, we'd just go physically look at the card to verify but it seems like just the config.ini file may have thrown you or your supervising engineer off.

Thanks for the quick reply, my supervising engineer is one of those people who know everything. Photographic memory and all. If the card supported it he wanted to set these because the environments our UPS' are in can range greatly in temperature and humidity. If we had the ability with this card then we could monitor them better and save ourselves from making a road trip to tear the UPS apart in order to remove a swollen battery. Our on site staff no longer has enough people to provide routine maintenance/battery replacement for us anymore.

The AP9617 does not support environmental monitoring so you won't see the settings in the interface.
The configuration file still shows those values no matter what model of card that you have - they just wont actually apply on an AP9617.
Do you believe this card is supposed to have environmental options? or why are you trying to update this value?
