Hi, I have a smart-ups 5000 RMT5U can i change the output voltage from 208 to 240 volt?

Assuming this is your UPS and it is the North American model, http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SUA5000RMT5U&tab=documentation , this model can only be set for 208V. SURT/SURTD/SRT models support changing to 208V or 240V.
