30KVA, Silcon or SU VT?

Hello there!

Customer needs 30KVA UPS for datacenter, Silcon 30KVA or SU VT 30KVA. Could you please write your suggestions, which model is preferrable?
As I understand, Silcon have 64 batteries, how many has SU VT 30KVA?

Another question is, what brand of batteries are used on these systems, maybe Panasonic?

Dear asleiste, thank you for information.

The customer is mining company, UPS for their site at countryside. About the redunduncy, yes, customer will purchase 2 units. Application is for datacenters' equipment backup. kVA or kW, both OK, actual load is smaller, I expect up to 20kW. UPS will reside in the same datacenter room (or near). Right now they don't have raised floor, in future maybe they will. Don't know about their budget, but since it's minig company I expect they have a good one 🙂

About getting in touch with official representative, that is quite the problem for us. Bacause here in Mongolia we don't have APC representative and we ordering from Beijing, China and their personel speak very poor English (or do not speak) and customer/tech support is bad.

As I understand, SU VT is more scalable in terms of extending run-time, while Silcon is not?

Also is it possible to use SU VT (or Silcon) with 3rd part battery system, I mean some battery cabinet with some 65AH (or 100AH) batteries?
