Hi, i'm very new to datacentre power and have only set up small UPS's with simple input/output connections.
We've just purchased an APC Smart-UPS VT 400V 30kVa (3 Phase) yet to be installed by the electrician so i'm just getting prepared,
We currently have 2 server racks soon to be 3, with 7 1 and 2 RU Dell servers between them, a SAN plus networking equipment. My question is regarding the connection of the UPS to the server equipment.
The UPS output voltage is 400V 3Ph and there is only one output connection on the back - L1, L2, L3 and neutral. I would like to have 2 PDU's per rack, how do i go from having one Output on the UPS, to multiple inputs for IEC60309 connected PDU's?
Thanks for any hel.

Hi Pedro,
The electrician would be able to help you with this but generally speaking the UPS would be wired through a maintenance bypass panel and then the outputs would be taken from that.
