1500VA vs 2000VA vs 3000VA?

This was originally posted on APC forums on 5/2/2016

Hi all, Im looking to purchase a small SmartUPS for a small remote office in NZ:

Half sized rack
1x FW
2x Switch
2x R330 servers
2x R620 servers

I cant get a 15amp circuit installed (its a managed office space and the cost is astronomical), Im restricted to 10amp only.

Would a 1.5KVA (here) suffice?  Any other recommendations?

Cheers, Riv.

Hi,

A 1500KVA should be sufficient but you should contact local sales support to verify. They will review the requirements and match them to an appropriate UPS. Local support information can be found at this link. http://www.apc.com/au/en/support/contact-us/index.jsp
