0g-9354 NMC and SNMP Weak Protocols
We are running a Symmetra 100K UPS battery backup unit that has a 0g-9354 Network Management Card (NMC) installed in it. The software on the NMC contains px2 version 377 and aos version 378. Something that we'd like to overcome is the NMC's ability to only support Authentication Protocol MD5 and Privacy Protocol DES for SNMP v3. We are looking to possibly upgrade to the latest firmware in the APC_NMC3_PX_2501_EN.zip file obtained from APC's website but I wanted to ask here before doing so. Specifically we would like the unit to support Authentication Protocol SHA and Privacy Protocol AES. So my question is, is this even possible with our equipment? If not, is there a replacement NMC that can support our desires?
