You can now configure power connections between rack PDUs and floor equipment (PDUs, UPSs, ATS and Switchgear) using the new power connection wizard.
To access the wizard, go to the rack view and select a rack PDU. Click the power connection icon . If there is no power connection configured, click Connect. If there is an existing power connection, you will see power connection details for the rPDU you selected and the option to disconnect it.
Power path color coding configured in the desktop client is now displayed in the power overlay in the web client.
New asset management features
You can now add the following fixures to the floor view in the room editor: door, window, perforated tiles, blocks, gaps, and person.
Issues fixed
The Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab now loads more efficiently.
Access to the Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab no longer requires a Capacity License.
On the Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab, Capacity Utilization now shows the percentage of the full theoretical capacity rating of the physical infrastructure.
On the Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab, the Capacity Utilization dial properly reflects the percentage range.
The links to the Sustainability metrics tab in the desktop client Window > Dashboard options were refreshed.
The hyperlink icon is now displayed in Custom Properties.
Errors no longer occur when patching multiple custom properties.
Assets are populated in the rack as expected after a search.
It is no longer necessary to reload the page to populate columns and load the audit log after searching for an asset.
Power information is now reported at the rack level in the web client.
Erroneous changes to data in the web client custom properties no longer occurs.
The Reset password and Delete options are available on the web client Users page for the selected user as expected.
The scroll bar is available on the web client Users page as expected.
The work order move to icon is now displayed as expected in the web client.
The zoom level is longer reset after opening drawers or resizing the browser window.
Existing ITA licenses can now be deleted.
In the API, you can now disconnect power and network cables when moving assets to storage rooms and remove cables connected to equipment that resides in storage rooms.
In the API, the endpoints on the /api/current page are no longer expanded and appearing to load data.
Known issues
US customary units are treated as metric when creating a room. This can result in a new room to being too small to edit. You can change your preferred units in your profile on the General page.
You cannot remove the person fixture from the floor view.
The Administration > Backup and Restore page does not list backups that are uploaded to the system. This is cosmetic. The backup can be run as expected.
On the Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab, configuration changes are not saved after logging out of the web client.
On the Dashboards > Sustainability metrics tab, the Price field in Subsystem Cost is cleared when you click Set default price and CO2 emission.
The Configuration > Certificates page does not display the installed certificates. This is cosmetic.

New features
Web client
Dashboard
The Capacity tab moved from Inventory to the Dashboard. Select a location or room to display capacity data.
The Energy Efficiency tab was renamed Sustainability metrics on the Dashboard in the web client.
Click Configuration and select General to configure metrics. An asterisk * indicates that a value is required.
Additional metrics include:
Renewable Energy Factor: REF is calculated as the ratio of the renewable energy consumed by the data center to its total energy consumption. Specify the amount of energy in kWh that is produced from renewable sources.
Water Usage Effectiveness: WUE is the ratio between the use of water in data center systems and the energy consumption of the IT equipment, measured in liters/kilowatt-hour (L/kWh). Specify the daily water usage in liters.
Carbon Usage Effectiveness: CUE is the ratio of total data center carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions to IT equipment energy consumption. The CO2 emissions data is derived from the system configuration.
Setting floor coordinates in the web client shape editor now works as expected.
The installation date format is now consistent in the equipment browser.
Improved snapping for equipment inside the row.
The error message for Selected company name does not match the company name of parent equipment was improved.
Removed duplicate row errors for fanout cables in the ETL log.
JDBC Postgres driver was updated to version 42.7.2.

New features
New desktop client
A new desktop client is required for ITA 9.4.2
SAML 2.0 Single Sign On (SSO) for the desktop and web clients (on-premises only)
Administrators can now configure SAML 2.0 SSO in the Configuration > Authentication servers tab. Any identity provider (IdP) that supports the SAML protocol is supported.
Once you configure SSO, all users with an email address on one of the domains you specify must use your identity provider to log in to IT Advisor on-premises.
It is strongly recommended that at least one Administrator user who does not require SSO to log in is configured on the Administration > Users tab.

New API endpoint
/configuration/dce-update
A new REST API endpoint allows you to edit the MAC address and serial number of an existing DCE definition. Existing associations and sensor map data are updated to point to the new DCE server.
This can be run while the server is in use.
Note that MAC addresses are case sensitive. The MAC address of the DCE server is the Help > About EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert option in the DCE desktop client.

Web client features
New features and enhancements in ITA 9.4.2:
The web client has a new look!
Left sidebar complies with Schneider Electric design standards.
New Genomes option in the left sidebar.
Click the Search icon to show or hide the search field.
Navigation tab was renamed Details.
Click the dots next to a location to access options.
There is an Open floor view button in the preview.
The Equipment Browser is now location based. When the Equipment browser is open, the view updates when you change locations.
Genome management
There is now a Genomes option in the left side bar.
To add assets to rooms, search in the Genome Library instead of navigating a tree view.
Users with Genome permission can select a genome from the Genome Library, preview and then add to their My Genomes list.
Add and edit genome properties; and remove existing genomes.
ITA web client small form factor for mobile devices
The web client now adapts to a small form factor for use on tablets or smartphones. You cannot make changes on a mobile device. Note: Genomes, Administration, and Configuration options are not available on mobile devices.
Rack audit - available on mobile devices only
Select a rack and tap Rack Audit.
Tap a rack or an asset to expand its auditable properties.
Verify or Reject the settings.
Note: You customize the auditable properties in the full sized web client on the Configuration > Inventory Settings tab. Rack audit will be available in the full sized web client in a future release.
Rack view
Elevated view was renamed Rack view.
Now can Add rack mount PDUs to racks in the Rack view.
New Rack lock button in the Rack view.

Issues fixed
Deleted assets are no longer missing from the audit log.

The ETL configuration page in the web client automatically updates as expected.

Use the Room Fixture icon to edit the room shape, floor coordinates, and other room properties. You can add and modify cages and walls in fixture mode.
Use the Padlock icon to lock the floor. The floor must be unlocked to add racks or devices.
Simultaneous front and rear rack views
The Reverse button is in general information.
New customer management feature
You can now add Customers in the web client, previously only available in the Rest API.
Issues fixed
New users can now log in to the web client using SSO.
The count for licensed racks is now up to date after each change.
Custom bank names are now consistently shown.
Work order numbers are now linked to blade and blade enclosures as expected
Work orders now prevent having more than one asset in the same rack position.
You can now remove blades and the blade enclosure in one work order.
Improved work order error messages to more easily identify equipment.
The Value defined filter is now working as expected in the equipment browser.
You can now move an asset from a rack to a store room with patch api.
The network summary report now handles tags correctly.
The network cable name can now contain a slash.

Known issues
We are investigating the following issues in the ITA 9.4.0 web client:
Work orders are not displayed on the Change Management tab.
New change requests cannot be created on the Change Management tab.

Web client
You can now apply asset visuals to all objects in the selected rack, room, or location, not just in a rack.
Rack layout is available in the floor view.
Extended rack PDU bank custom labeling allows you to name different rack PDU banks for a better overview.
Cooling Optimize devices (temperature, humidity and controller) and sensors from Cooling Optimize devices are available in IT Advisor.
Platform updates
Framework updated on desktop client and web client, making future migrations to newer versions easier.
Performance improvements in the web client floor view and elevated view.
Issues fixed
You can now save custom properties with names longer than 36 characters.
Optimized editing tags from the equipment browser and the API.
Replace operation on tags is no longer supported in the API.
