Hi,
I have the below products in a project:
1 x LSS100100 Wiser KNX (firmware 2.8.0)
2 x Umotion client touch 10
3 x Umotion client touch 7
And I have the same issue. When the LSS100100 was on firmware version 2.7, SE support previously sent me a special update for the Umotion client touch 10, and a special apk for the Umotion client touch 7. After updating the LSS100100 to 2.8 (because the app Wiser for KNX was discountinued on the play store and app store), the umotion client touch 7 and 10 are not longer connecting to the server. Does the update for the umotion client touch 10 sent above work in our case? And is there an updated apk for the client touch 7 with the new Wiser app?
Thanks.

Hello
Which firmware is running on your U.motion 10'' TP? You would need 1.4.4 to be compatible with newer version of LSS100100.
For 7'' TP you will need to use KiBro App, find attached.
Best regards
Heribert

Hello KNXperts!
To "As for the 10" TP, they are already on 1.4.4. "
Thats great!
To "The issue is that the touch app is not showing, only Scheduler and Trends (Check attached photo)."
This means that it is in general working already. That not the complete content is representet can be an issue with the cache. So I would propose to clear it and try again. To clear the cache is always a good idea when content is not represented in the expected way.
To "Another issue we noticed in the new Wiser KNX app after updating to 2.8 is that custom widgets we created for HVAC control, 1-bit feedback for mechanical systems and for curtain control are not showing in the application."
Custom widgets are not supported in general within the mobile App 😟
Here you will find an overview of supported widgets:
https://www.productinfo.schneider-electric.com/wiser-knx/0000956364-wiser-knx-aug/English/Wiser_KNX_...
Why no support of custom widgets ...
The problem behind is that it is pretty hard to identify the created structure/function out of this custom widget to interpretate/transform it in a dedicated one within the mobile App. For all the widgets in the list above we now exactly how the widget looks like in the TouchVisu including the dedicated datapoints and so we can have dedicated one within the mobile app. Hope you get the point.
In general the list of supported widgets is growing, but the custom widget is really difficult.
Sorry to have no better news!

Hello Heribert,
Thank you for your answer. We will test with the KiBro app for the 7" TP.
As for the 10" TP, they are already on 1.4.4. The issue is that the touch app is not showing, only Scheduler and Trends (Check attached photo).
Another issue we noticed in the new Wiser KNX app after updating to 2.8 is that custom widgets we created for HVAC control, 1-bit feedback for mechanical systems and for curtain control are not showing in the application. Does this has to do with the fact that the Wiser KNX app now divides the widgets into sections in the same room (Lights, energy, etc..). How can we remedy to this problem and show these custom widgets again in the Wiser KNX app for mobile phones?
Thank you for your help.

The Kibro app worked perfectly thank you! For the 10" TP, they are on firmware 1.4.4. Should the URL to be used in the 10" TP just be http://wiser_IP_address or http://wiser_IP_address/touch or something else?
Thanks!

Hi Thomas! Thank you for your answer. About the widgets, that's too bad since the project was handed over quite some time ago and now we have to redo them all over again using the supported widgets, but that's something feasible. We tried to clear the cache and reboot the system on the 10" TP, and now the 10" TP asks for the username and password. When we input the admin user and password, we have a message that the login is incorrect, although the same credentials are working when we login to the Wiser KNX using a web browser. Thanks for the help!

You have to enter the full URL (IP address and rest of string that leads to the visu). In addition you need to activate the checkbox "use free URL" otherwise the panel will try to connect to a U.motion server.

Hello Heribert,
Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately the TP 10" issue is still not resolved. We disabled password for accessing apps, cleared the cache, and tried several URLs, but nothing is working. Please check the attached screenshots. The touch app is taking a slot, but is invisible and cannot be clicked. The tested URLs are: http://server_ip-address/apps (then we have the scheduler and trends app showing, but touch is hidden) and http://server_ip-address/apps/data/touch (In that case, only a blank white page can be seen). Touch3 app version is 3.18.7 (20250523). Since the touch3 is not showing, and if we point in the URL to the touch3 app directly, we get a white image, I assume this is a compatibility issue.
I remember we had the same behavior in the past before updating to 1.4.4 and updating the server, where the touch app was visible, but after opening it, we also had a white page only. Can you please advise? Thank you

Hello KNXperts
Seems the connection in general is working but the content of the Wiser for KNX cannot be shown.
I am not an expert on Wiser for KNX so I do not know what the problem could be caused of. Will try to find a colleague who can help you.

Hello KNXperts
The colleague answered that it looks like a cache problem but as you already tried it is not clear. Maybe you can try to clear cache once again.
You also might try with a secure connection using https command (https://server_ip-address/apps/data/touch/) but depends on the settings in the Wiser4KNX.
On the other hand it is possible that there is incompatibility. As the U.motion touch panels have been discontinued several years ago the new versions of Wiser4KNX are no longer tested with the U.motion panels. Then you might need to downgrade the Wiser4KNX.
Best regards

Hello Heribert,
Thanks for your message and the follow up! Looking forward to your reply as this has become quite urgent and the end-client is putting pressure to finalize this as soon as possible.
Kind regards.

Hello
Did you try above mentioned hints (clear cache again and try with https connection)?
Best regards

Hello Heribert,
No we have not tried yet the https with the clear cache, but will try to test it as soon as possible. In case there is incompatibility, and we have to downgrade the wiser, will the new app "Wiser KNX" work (Since the old app "Wiser for KNX" is no longer available)? Thanks

Hello again Heribert,
I can confirm that the https link with the clear cache is also not working. We have the same result, a white blank page. The http server in the wiser is set to http and https. And if it was a link or security issue, why would we see the scheduler and the trends? So I think it's a compatibility issue. How can we safely downgrade the server? And will the new app be compatible with the firmware 2.7 of the wiser?
Thanks.

Downgrade is not supported, only way to do that is flash the SD card with bootloader and select old FW when asked to upload the FW.
See this application note / guide:
https://www.se.com/hk/en/download/document/AN2_001/
Make sure to have a backup as all content will be erased from the card, the backup needs to be from same version or older version then the FW you will restore, if your current backup is in version 3.0 and you use an older FW you cannot restore the higher version backup, so keep that in mind before you start walking this route…
Firmware for the new app needs to be at least 3.0
See: https://www.productinfo.schneider-electric.com/wiser-knx/
So if you roll back to an older FW you can only use the browser or something like the Kibro App

Hello,
Seems like backup you have is created on later version of Touch then you restore it on and it is probably the rootcause of the error line you get.
Can you try right now delete whole Touch visualization and manually create one widget and check if the error message is still there?
If this does not help can you try also flash the SD card again and without backup just create KNX object and one Widget?
I understand this is not good approach and it is huge effort to make it manually but I am worried in such a case we have no choise. This is highly unsupported FW version and Touch version from controller point of view.
Kind regards
David
