DALI GW Comparison sheet

Dear Team,

I’ve noticed a wide range of DALI gateways available. Previously, I worked with models MTN6725-0001 and MTN6725-0101. When the Basic DALI gateway introduced support for controlling ECGs and groups, I initiated a new project using that version.

Recently, I came across the DALI Broadcast Master, which appears to be more modern and feature-rich. In hindsight, I wish I had selected it for my current project instead of the Basic model.

Could you kindly share a comparison sheet outlining the advantages of each gateway? Additionally, if there are any models scheduled for discontinuation, I’d appreciate that information as well.

The Broadcast Gateway controls all channels by transmitting the same value across them, without the ability to adjust individual ECG/DALI channel levels. As a result, all channels function as a single group?

Each channel works as a group, not all channels..

As Erwin already mentioned ... all ECGs within a channel are working as a single group.
But the device has 4 channel which are independend to each other.
Within the next monthes there will be also Extensions available.
Means, as normal within SpaceLogic, you will be able to connect up to two extensions with also 4 channel each.
So in maximum you can realize up to 12 different DALI channel.
