Schneider SL&HL no action Iphone bug

Hello,

I have a customer who recently has a bug in Touch/mosaic that suddendly appear (maybe after a IOS update) !

First we use HL with 2.3.0 firmware.

The bug occur on both Iphone of the husband and wife customer (iphone 6smax and IOS 12.3.1).

The bug look like the https issue with safari, but is not !

I tried with logic machine applestore software, with SE Wiser for knx, with SAFARI http direct access, and with Chrome also ! I clear SAFARI cache and restart Iphone !


the customer can access the Touch visualisation, go in a room, but when he click on a Light, no action !

For me, It work on a computer and with my personal Iphone (12.3.0 IOS), but not with their Iphone !


Any help appreciate !

this is really strange because I privately use it as well and have not faced this issue yet.

I had the same constellation (iOS+W4K FW-Version). Are you sure that you have a WiFi-Connection at this moment?

 

Do you face still the same behaviour after update to W4K 2.4 and iOS 12.4?

This was Cache problem. Needed to go Iphone date to 2030. Load app, then go back to normal date

Hi, I have currently no concrete idea why a change of a date is bringing the needed solution instead of deleting the cache competley but maybe I am not familar enough with this kind of technology.

 

As specially by reading this example from google and I guess iOS works similar: 

As an example of such an archive created by the search engines, the archive of the search engine most commonly used in Germany, the so-called Google cache, will be explained here.
Google takes a screenshot for each URL that has been included in the search engine index as a backup in the event that the current website is not available. This snapshot is then saved in the Google cache. Accordingly, the Google cache acts as a virtual archive. If the website you are looking for cannot be opened or can only be opened very slowly, the page can be called up from the cache instead. Google points out the date and time of the screenshot.

 

Maybe due to the change of date to 2030 and back the system identifies the screenshot as somehow not actual and creates a new one?! => Just guessing!

 

By deactivating the automatical time synchronisation you can manually adapt the date.
Try to call the Visu again with this incorrect date.

Set back the date settings and try to call the dedicated page again.

 

Please let us know if this was solving the issue by your client.

You go to Iphone settings, and change date in Iphone to a futur date (1 year later for example).

Try clearing cache from safari settings also, install last Ios update and reboot.

 

Change date to Iphone to Automatic, then reload the HL/SL website
