hello
I used KNX ARGUS (MTN630819) to control lights and AC, I used two different blocks
I let the user enable and disable each block from SPACELYNK using the Disable function.
the issue comes when power off or KNX bus reset, the disable function (Locking object) become disabled regardless of the user settings.
any advice will be welcomed,
regards,

Hello nasser_ic-syste,
I dont know about how many rooms we are talking here in your project.
In case there is no W4K/sL within the project so that we cant work with a script ...
And maybe it is only for one/two rooms we could try to realize a solution with unsued switch-channel
which can keep their last position during power off. So that we "reuse" the feedback object?!

Another thing i’m interested in is why is this a big issue? Usually the knx bus is always powered, and how often does a interruption occur? If you have a lot of interruptions isn’t it better idea to use a PSU with a backup battery attached to guarantee a working bus?

Did you try to change the "Activation time of the disable function" from "Active during telegram reception" to "After download/bus voltage recovery"?
Not sure if this is a retain value (so it checks previous state) or just simply activate on startup, i hope the first (:
If this not works o don't see any way to do it from the application, only way then is to use a script to solve it, i would suggest to try above first and if that does not works as expected we can look at some way to script it..

hello @Erwin-vd-Zwart
I tried that before
unfortunately, it does the second one (activate on startup)
changing the flags for the locking object could help?

Thank you @Thomas_Rohde and @Erwin-vd-Zwart
I agree that using UPS will solve the issue, because of that, we use UPS source in all of our projects
but in this case, we test the worst scenarios in our office and we face this issue.
Maybe it's not right thinking in this way and making things more complicated!
I share this issue here to hear from experts.
Appreciate your comments
