Hello,

I am trying to connect an Ipad to KNX Inside control IP-gateway using the inside control app but whenever i try to do so this message appears
"KNX connection error.....You are trying to connect to a different MAC address or the IP gateway is not the indicated model"  and this when I activate the auto discover .... but when I do not activate the auto discover and assign the IP of the KNX Inside control IP-gateway the message is "KNX connection error.... impossible to connect to the KNX installation " !!!!

Hello

There are several possibilities why you don't get connection.

Either you have entered no or a wrong MAC address in the configuration tool (InSideControl Builder).

Or there are several InSideControl gateways or KNX IP routers in your IP network. If this is the case you should try to power off all other KNX IP devices or disconnect them from the IP network.

Hi,

What also might help is to turn off auto discovery in the APP settings.

Don't ask me why (i think it depends on other devices in your IT network) but i have seen this multiple times as the solution.
