HomeKit connection issue

Hello dears,

do we need any kind of certificates inorder to use homekit.

while I cannot pair my spacelynk with homekit, I got:

- This accessory is not cerified and may not work reliable with HomeKit

I select add Anyway but couldnt connect!

I try reset several times but didnt work

Can you please be more specific in terms of your FW-Version of the spaceLYnk?
And are you sure with the given iOS Version? Looks pretty old (10.xxx versus 18.6.2).

unfortunatilly we dont use IOS, this is an old tablet I found in our office.

do you think its related to IOS version?

I looked to Wikipedia and there they are stating that homekit startet with iOS Version 8.
But only from 2021 onwards Apple opend the system in the way that no specific secure component is needed on another controller. So they opend the system more at this time. So iOS 15 at least.
Second point which you need to check is the HW-Version of spaceLYnk.
Please have in mind that not only the correct FW-Version needs to be in place ... also the HW needs to be at least 2.x
