Firmware 3.0.0 announcement

We are excited to announce the release of firmware v3.0.0 for Wiser for KNX and spaceLYnk controllers. This firmware release brings a number of significant enhancements, including:

• KNX Data Secure Support: This new feature enables secure communication between your Wiser controllers and your KNX bus. This helps to protect your KNX system from unauthorized access and data manipulation.

• IPv6 Support: This firmware release adds support for IPv6, which is the next generation of internet protocol. This will allow you to connect your Wiser controllers to networks that use IPv6 addressing.

• 802.1X EAP-TLS Support: This firmware release adds support for 802.1X EAP-TLS authentication. This is a secure authentication protocol that can be used to protect your Wiser controllers from unauthorized access.

In addition to these major features, firmware v3.0.0 also includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Important Note: For those with hardware version 1.xx controllers, please note that some of the new features in Firmware v3.0.0 may require an upgrade to newer hardware version to fully unlock their potential. The firmware's changelog is included in the download package for your reference.

The firmware is available for download now from the respective product pages on the se.com website.

We encourage you to upgrade your controllers to firmware v3.0.0 as soon as possible to experience these new features.

Unfortunately I can't install it

Hi Sebastian,

seems on your screen is a message that signature is not correct. Can you tell me what firmware version are you upgrading to which one? Also you must be on production firmware as if you are for example a betatester the signature in your controller is different.

I’ve got the same error message. I’m upgrading from 2.8.3 to 3.0.0.

Unfortunately I can't install version 3.0.0 either on wiser for KNX.

I'm prompted with the same message: Cannot upgrade, firmware image file is invalid.

i have installed the firmware version 2.8.3.

What type of controller do you have? homeLYnk, Wiser for KNX or spaceLYnk? What Hardware version? Do you see a reset button on the front below the LED’s ? What is the full name of the 3.0.0 FW you are attempting to install at the moment?

Name of Firmware next:

Wiser for KNX firmware V3.0.0 (Hardware 2.X.X and hardware 3.X.X) (V3.0.0)

What Hardware version do you have (mentioned on the side of the controller)?

Do you see a reset button on the front below the LED’s? (Yes= HW 2 or 3, No = HW 1)
