Hello all of you,

I have a question about dali gateway the thing is sometimes error led is opening but I don't see any problem to Dali working Why this led is opening When there is no error?

by reading your topic I am not pretty sure that I got your topic 100% correctly.
" ... is sometimes error led is opening ..." => is it really only sometimes On or permanently On?

When it is really only sometimes On that please try to identify what happens when it goes ON and
what happens when it goes OFF. In this case I would guess that there is something strange within the installation.

In case it is permanently switched on I can gave an example of my workbench. My Error-LED is as well permanently

switched on due to the fact that one ECG has three outputs but just two them are used/connected/wired.

Please let me know.

Firstly thank you for your answer,

I made project consist of Dali. First times error led did not light. After a while error led started to light and never again off but system is working correctly. In the Project there are ECG's two outputs but one of them are connected. I mean it's depending on ECG connections. Am I right ?

YES, this can be the rootcause. Maybe you have the chance to connect a second light in a small sample system for validation.

Hello Thomas,

You are right on this topic. When I connect the ballast which has two output but I connected only one output. Dali's Error LED goes ON. But I use ballast which have only one output. LED didn't on. Thank you for helping again.
