Hi, we have a project using multiple NAC's to control build lighting. One Building has a NAC and 3 bridged networks.
One of these bridges (5500NB) keeps locking out, and has to be reset by unplugging both sides of the A and B connections.
This happened may be 2 to 3 time a year.
So the question is two parts.
1. What would the network bridge to freeze and not allow any communications between the networks. We have replaced the 3 times over the last 7 years.
2. The site use to run on SchedulePlus, but we changed over to using NAC's (LS5500NAC) in each building. With SchedulePlus we could monitor the network states of each building, but how can this be done with the NAC.
Cant see how we can see if a bridge network segment has been lost.

I have not seen NAC / SHAC "locking out" bridges or heard of it from any other users so far.
You should note that the NAC/SHAC can see where the originating message comes from, so if a message comes from a far network using the same 'GA" back onto your local network...it will be seen as a different object.
If you have common "GA's " across the networks you should create objects for "both the local network "'0" and the far networks to ensure proper control and ststus indication is available.
script can monitor the local network only for connected, but cannot monitor 'networks connected across 5500NB bridges".
