Hello, I am building a panel for a simple wood cutting machine.
My customer is requesting the motor starter to be in accordance to Coordination Type 2.
What is the Difference between Coordination type 1 and Coordination type 2?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
With a coordination type1 Motor Starter, in case of short circuit, you take the risk to change one of the component of the motor starter, and most of the case, it is the contactor that has to be changed.
With a coordination type2 Motor Starter, you just have to repair it (simple operation to make on the contactor), and then you can restart.
Hope it helps.
