Hello
Is there any guide (or anyone have experience) in VFD (VSD) optimization for ventilation applications? Is there anything to optimize inside VFD (VSD)?

The first topic when connecting is to enter propoerly the motor name plate in the drive you have (menu depends on the type of drive, could be ATV12, ATV212, ATV600, eventually ATV320), the second step is to perform a simple autotune with motor connected. After this step, it is possible to select the right motor control law (once more depending on your drive), I would propose if you have ATV212 (normally dedicated for fan and pump application) to use the motor control law N° 1 or N°4. for other type of drive, please consult the corresponding programming manual.

The Schneider VFD group will have input.
However, my experience (Field Devices Current Sensors) is that alternating current (AC) ventilation blowers/fans, especially legacy, can be controlled by VFDs to save energy and reduce noise by optimizing the speed. The difficult part is controlling the resulting radio frequency interference (RFI) and AC power line remnants. At times RFI can disrupt other equipment, extensive shielding/cable ducting is usually needed.
