Dear Experts,
I hope you are doing well. I have an Altivar 930 motor drive that is being managed by a SCADA system via Profinet. I would like to configure the ATV930 so that I can switch between local and remote mode using an external pulse or selector. In local mode, the Altivar's digital inputs would be used for control. In remote mode, control would be handled by the SCADA system via Profinet.
How can I achieve this configuration?
Thank you for your assistance.

Dear Jhimmy : Please could you clarify if you need to change only the control ( start /stop) or also the speed refernence? FOr other side please could you clarify in remote and local how do you want to send the speed reference? It is important to know in detail to define the correct configuration, our drive can manage diferent setting for control and Frequency reference and different chanels . Please clarify this point and we will give you the correct configuration .
Example :
If you use Channel 1 for PRofinet start/stop and speed reference, and channel 2 = digital input for start/stop and analog input for speed reference . you can do following setting in the commmand and reference menu.
CCS= DIx ( digital input selected to change between channel 1 and 2)
FR1= Ref. Freq-Com.Module=NET => Channel 1 is assigned to the connected option com card => PRofinet
FR2= AIx (selected analog input for reference )=> Channel 2= Digital input and analog input .
It is simple setting , after we can do more specific configuration depending your needs.

Check the parameter [CCS]. You could define two seperated values for command and reference. With CCS you could switch between this channels.
