I have replaced an Altivar61 drive with a ATV650, terminals connections to DI for test and auto start as well as relay connections for Fault and Status are the same (see attached screenshot 1.)
My issue is DI2 does not recognise the start signal so will not run even though the 0-10v speed reference operates. (Hz change value)
What is also confusing is the Modbus HLI status reads as "true" when i run the drive.
I think it in the settings, the attached screenshot 2. and 3. show the configuration for DI2 cannot be changed. (DI4 is configured as a fault reset and also cannot be changed)
3.
"true" when i give it a start signal.

Hi Rodwa: just to clarify , "No"means that you did not assign any function to this input. It does not mean that you cannot change the configuration . In ATV61 or 630 you have to go to the function to asign the input that you want to use. By defautl ATV61 and 630 have 2 wire control ,it means that Li1 or DI1 need to chang from 0 to 1 to start the motor . LI2 or DI2 are not used by default. It is because generally these drives are used for pumps or fans => only 1 direction of rotation is allowed. Maybe in ATV61 you have activiated the reverse comand in LI2 => you need to assing the same in DI2 , Please could you confirm if you need to rotate in both direction in your application ? or if you need to use 3 wire control ( NC stop in LI1/DI1 and NA run in LI2/DI2) .See image below. If you app is compatible with Forward and reverse rotation , you can set to RRS( reverse) =DI2. Sorry the Wiring diagramis is not clear

Hello Rodwa,
Please check the complete configuration using SoMove sofware, it is an easy way to see exactly where are all modifications you did compare to factory setting, you have also this feature in the keypad "Simply start" you will see on the 4 keys one dedicated to "Mod Parameters". There is also a possibility to see real action of DI (if the action you do on push button is really talen in account in the drive. You have to go to menu 4 "Display", then point 10 "I/O map" and here you will discover all status fo rall I/O.
With both of them, you will have a better idea of what is possible...
