Hello,
Probably many of you have at least had this issue once: you have to design a system with multiple motors and deal with motor starting, power quality, equipment sizing in the same time. Despite there are several software on the market, none is designed to do it "natively", you need to be an expert to use them and often to buy multiple packages in order to cover all sides of this design. I personally find this a bit pity, because often it is discouraging of making the analyses in depth and forces to reuse existing designs to save time. But here seems to be a solution for this dilemma. It is the recently launched calculation software named Ecostruxure Motor Management Design, dedicated to motor and network analyses with minimum effort of data and time. And it helps you to select the offers and size them, for LV and MV.
The authors have published a short intro video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hysc9zxLEH0, but I think the best is to connect to the tool and test it by yourself. Because it does much more than shown in the video.
So, when do you connect?

Hi @faisalamir , thanks for this feedback! We have recently released a new version, any comments from customers or internal are welcome. Now you can also see the THDi and use the app for calculations with small motors, transformer and generator sizing!

Hello,
is it possible to view influence of three drives to power quality segment? I have 3 drives of type ATV630C11N4 to simulate THD factors. Is there a tool to view harmonic generated by these drives?
Thank you.
BR,
K
