Hi Sim89 : Using Cia402 or IO profile . you have to select Cxx bit (virtual input) instead of digital input at the moment that you configure the function . Lets take an example DC injection function via Mobdbus communication In this case we want to use Bit13 to activate the DC injection via modbus => we have to go to the dCi parameter and set C113. . Please see below the screen shot from modbus manual and programing manual
Important: Number of the Cxxx bit is different if you use IO profile or for different com protocols. the example is only for modbus and CIA402 . For other protocol please check the number in the attached pictures below or in the correct communication manuals depding the selected protocol .
