Customer has an Altivar320 drive that randomly gives SAFF error.
power cycling will sometimes clear the fault, only to have it come back immediately, or randomly in a few minutes or a few hours.
The customer will only let their engineers connect a laptop to their equipment, so I am unable to use SOmove to look at the registers, and their engineer is in another state.
The graphic display terminal is not available either, so all I have is the hmi.
the factory jumper is connected from P24 to STO, and 24v is present there.
In an attempt to eliminate the motor as a cause, removed the motor wires from the drive, and I still get SAFF on power up.
Any tips to resolve this before replacing the drive?

I am not specialist on this topic but may be this document can help you on this matter. I advise then to contact your local Schneider representative.
