Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of migrating parameters from an old ATV58F to a new ATV340 and ran into a connection issue using SoMove.
Here’s the setup:
Using USB to RJ45 adapter (Modbus RTU), Win10 x64 PC.
SoMove version: 2.10.0.0 (latest version)
DTM installed: ATV340_DTM_Library_V4.3.0 (latest version)
The ATV340 shows up in the device list, but...
Connection via "Edit Connections / Scan" fails (progress bar stays at 0%, then exits to main screen)
Right-click on VFD icon > Identify device gives errors:
"DTM type and device type is not matching"
"Operation Failed, Device identification failed"
Could this be a DTM and firmware compatibility issue?
Would using an older DTM version help? If so, does anyone have access to an earlier DTM library version I can try?
Thanks in advance for any tips or files

Update / Question:
After reviewing the DTM v4.3.0 release notes, I confirmed that the firmware compatibility shouldn't be the issue.
However, the notes mention that topology mismatches—such as differences in drive reference or installed option modules—can cause the "DTM type and device type is not matching" error. In my case, the drive has an encoder installed, though it's not wired to anything.
Could the presence of this unused encoder still trigger a mismatch? Would removing it or modifying the DTM topology be a valid solution?
The drive is installed remotely and site visits are difficult and expensive.
Appreciate any feedback or suggestions.
