Dear Sir/Madam
Usually, we do Autotune when the Electric motor is decoupled and in free-run mode. In some cases like an electro-gearbox which is very difficult to decouple, "Is it right to use Autotune without decoupling"?

No problem to make autotune even motor coupled. It is better to make such autotune than not doing at all.
Our motor control has been improved on some products (ATV900 340 for example) allowing ACVC feature, this has to be used when high dynamic performances are requested by application. In this case ACVC propose to make autotunning in rotation, in this case, it is better to make autotune motor unloaded (allows better motor characteristics measurement) but once more, not mandatory.
