Smartconnector 2.5.4 release

Hi everyone! Smartconnector 2.5 is now out! You can find it on smartconnectorserver.com as usual. Updated documentation should be out shortly.

Smartconnector v2.5 release notes

New features

 

- The SmartConnector service now supports flexera licensing.

The old licensing system is still in place, so users of the file based licensing system can keep using the .lic files.

 

- Semantic metadata(through the EWS metadata field) is now available through the EwsClient and the Ews REST Gateway.

 

- Expired and unused Ews Subscriptions and Notifications in the Smartconnector Ews Server will now be automatically cleaned up from the database

 

- Cron scheduling is now available for scheduling processor execution. Both five and six part expressions can be used.

- .NET Framework version updated to 4.7.2 

 

Bug fixes

 

- Fixed issue where AlarmItemReader fails if there is no AlarmTypesFilter passed into it.

 

- Fixed issue where Ews AlarmItems could get stuck in AlarmState and could not be acknowledged.

 

- Improved performance when subscribing to a large number of items in Smartconnector EWS Server

Hi @ardak ,
Are there any updated documents that outline operating system and database compatibility for Smartconnector v2.5?
Specifically the "SmartConnector Installation and Configuration Guide".
The latest release that I see on The Exchange was released in 2020 notably updated for Smartconnector v2.4 in the revision history.
