SmartConnector system requirements

Hello.

I have tried to search in the documents but I can't find anything specific about this.

We are going to deploy a dedicated server for SmartConnector Extensions to our customer. Their IT-department want's to know what kind of hardware specifications we would like.

Does anyone have something regarding this?

We will start of by depolying a RESTful EWS Extension and then I will also develop 2-3 extensions specific for consuming different API's.

What would you recommend in hardware for this?

The OS will be Windows Server 2016 (we can't affect this decision).

Hi Karim,

Unfortunately, the only 'official' specifications for Smart Connector is the Operating system. Windows Server 2016 will be just fine.

However, typically we tell people to install Smart Connector on the same PC as the Enterprise Server. So I would say, if you are doing that (and meeting those specs), then you will be good!

Allright, thanks. We will try out a dedicated server however because that is how the customer wants their different systems to be separated.
