Hi,
We have a customer who is using SmartConnector 2.4.17 on Windows Server 2016. When he tries to start an endpoint, the endpoint is not starting, and the following error is displayed.
2019-11-11 11:35:54.6882,Error,Service,<no principal>,Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
Any idea what might cause this problem? What file is causing this problem?
Thank you.
Mike

The dll file for the extension is currently being used by another process. You either have it opened on your computer or it's being looked at by a virus scan program during the moment when you tried to start it up. That second one was the cause the last time I had this issue.
You should also check the port in the address to make sure it isn't already in use.

Nick,
Thank you for your answer. The problem is now solved. The customer has changed the port number field in the endpoint properties. The default value is "8083".
Thanks.
