Hi,
Our SmartConnector discovery processor discovers all EBO Values(points). When the values are discovered, we see different kinds of prefix. For example: 11 and 01. See below.
11/Server 1/ConfigDBSize
01/Server 1/MyValues old/Analogs/Analog 1
Can you tell me what is the difference between "11" and "01"? Are there any other prefixes? Can I get a list of all possible prefixes and their meaning?
And another question: what about Function Blocks? Are they discovered the same way EBO values are discovered? Or, should we do a "special discovery" for Function blocks?
Thank you.
Regards,
Mike

If you remember from your thread Function block programs are a type of container and the points contained are values of that container, in this case with a 11 prefix.

Hi Armend,
Thank you for your answer. What about my second question? See below.

Thank you Armend,
I asked this question because in the past we were told by Jeff Bowman that Function Blocks have different discovery approach.
Now we understand that it is not required.

It is slightly different, as you'd maybe not expect the 11 prefix on a value on a container, if that's what Jeff referred to. You'd have to keep that in mind.
