A lot of our customers still have older types (>10 years) of UPS systems installed.
The energy efficiency of these older UPS systems is a lot lower, (especially in low load conditions), than the current range of UPS systems like Galaxy VS, VL, VX & VXL. This results in higher energy bills and CO2 emissions for the customer.
If the Service Representative would be able to use the Onsite software to do a efficiency measurement in Onsite by measuring input and output Power, this information can then be printed in the Service Report and show a comparison to the customer how much his energy losses can be reduced by replacing the UPS with a new model and how much CO2 and, (if we enter the kWh price), money he will save.
We can then also show an estimation of the return in investment of installing a new UPS, which would help the Service Representative to convince the customer and create more opportunities for modernization of old UPS systems.
