wiser hub only - is it possible

i am looking for a simple solution to turn the combi boiler on when out of the house - the 1/2/3 hour boost would answer that question but is that possible without a thermostat in the system - can i set the system up via the app without a thermostat as it is something i wont use - i also dont need to program the heating - i prefer manual control

if thats not possible could i add a trv head and then get access to the app - i have a number of drayton trv's so assume a head would fit one of those - would prefer not to have either a stat or trv head though
