I have a Wiser 2 channel system for controlling Hot Water and Central Heating. I recently invested in Solar and would like to divert energy to the hot water tank's Immersion heater. I figured the best way to automate was with the Wiser Electrical Heat Switch, but it won't let me set it up. I just want to be able to switch on / off either on a schedule or remote action through HomeAssistant, allowing the inbuilt thermostat in the Immersion heater to manage the water temperature.
Frustrated that neither Relay or Pilot wire option seems to do what I want and I just have a yellow error triangle next to it. Please assist

Hello 😀
I hope this answer finds you well!
Yes, the "electric switch" which is the 16 A Relay, definitely needs a thermostat to be controlled: it is used for temperature control and not for on/off load control.
To control an immersion heater (ECS), you need to use the power micromodule CCTFR6730. However, you have a first-generation gateway, which is not compatible with the power micromodule.
Let me announce you that soon you will be able to use the 2nd generation, which will be released in the UK in September/October.
In the meantime, you can try to make do with a smart plug if you can work with 13A. 😁
Thanks a lot
