Hello, I’m having some trouble establishing a link to the AP radio (J series 900) It’s been a while since I’ve used this program so I may be forgetting something but basically I login to the radio - setup- enable ediags on 1040 and enter my computers IP - activate config. Then open TView+ mgmt suite go to diagnostics- new - enter the name, serial number, select J series & AP communications port select Ediags (Ethernet) for the remote IP I enter the IP address of the AP, remote port 1040, apply changes then add new and do the same except changing the specific details for the remotes.
however, when I go to start my polling I get an alarm that says port closed. What am I missing ? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello Adam,
The only thing I can think if is that perhaps you haven't set the eDiags Port Settings yet. In the Settings menu, select eDiags Port Settings. In that dialog, enter the IP address of the port on your computer (some computers have more than one) used to connect to the radio system. Add port # 1040 then click Apply Changes.
If that does not work, I suggest you contact our Global Support team.

The error code which comes up is
"Error [10051]: The network cannot be reached from this host at this time.
Check ethernet cable connections and port settings. Please correct the problem, then run eDiags settings window click "Apply Changes" to re-open the port."
I'm using the default port setting of 1040 and have added a rule to my firewall setting to allow traffic through 1040. However I cannot get the port to open.
