This is detailed in the Help. Have a look at:
Navigation: SCADAPack x70 Configuration > Configuring SCADAPack x70 Device Operation > Configuring Database Objects > Adding Objects
and also:
Navigation: SCADAPack x70 Configuration > Configuring SCADAPack x70 Device Operation > Configuring Database Objects > Configuring Parameter Settings Using the Object Editor > Modbus Tab
In this section, the descriptor is for objects with register addresses. If you are dealing with Discrete objects then the choice is 1..9999 (Read/ write Discrete Coils) and 10001..19999 (Discrete Inputs)

There are quite a few Youtube videos on the Schneider Electric channel, discussing both basic and advanced aspects of RemoteConnect. Last year I created a series of five videos which provided a basic introduction, then showed such things as how to configure objects. Here's a link to the series of videos:

These videos unfortunately don't show actually configuring a Modbus point, but between about 3:40 and 4:30 in video #3 it shows where this can be done. Once you're there, the process is simple. By the way, you can configure an object with both a Modbus AND a DNP3 address if desired!
