Remote Connect, Changing a Physical AI Logic Variable Type.
I want to be able to set the Notifications in the X70 Logic for the physical AI, DI, AO and DO. In order to do this I need to change the Logic Variable type from its default. I will use AI as an Example.
So AI slot is a T_SPx70_DINT and I want to change it to T_SPx70_ADV_ANALOG.

Hi SWC,
Changing an object's logic variable type to an advanced analog provides many more sub-parameters. This includes the alert notification settings and many other things, so can be very useful. The only potential down-side is that an advanced analog does use more memory in the controller. But the x70 RTU's have so much more memory space than older models it's not an issue unless you have many thousands of objects.
