With the consolidation of the I/O modules recently and the 5403-12 going away with the suggested replacement 5414-24, will / can the 5414 work with 12V DI's?
A customer has had a 5414 in for testing for a while and says it has 12/24 on it and the data sheet seems to indicate there is a 12V option that is factory config'ed.

Hello Bob,
Yes, the 5414 will work with 12 volt inputs. I know the description in the price list is a bit confusing as it just mentions 24v. But in the user manual, the specification called "Input Logic - Hi Level" states that the transition threshold is typically 5.5 volts. So no issue at all with any voltage between 12 and 24v.

Thanks for the info Joel...Besides the '-24' the other thing that had me asking is the data sheet notes Factory Configurable on the 12/24V range so I thought it might be a board level switch I missed seeing in the manual.
