Synchronization of IED over Easergy T300

Dear all,

I have a question regarding to synchronization in Easergy T300, but with main focus on synchronization of IEDs.

I configure an IP address of IED to be 192.168.0.4 and connect it to a LAN port of 3^rd SC150 module (the last module).

In the configuration of IED, I set up a LAN IP address 192.168.0.254 as address of SNTP server.

And it was synchronized, but I lost communication over IEC61850.

My questions are:

1. Do I need to configure an IP address of IED to be in the same range as LAN port?
   Or IP address could be from different range?
2. On which port, LAN or WAN, I need to connect IED?
3. What else is needed to be set up?

IEDs should be connected to the ETH1 WAN port of the HU250.

The IED should be configured to get time synchronization from a router, or via SNTP from the HU250 (using the HU's WAN IP address).

The HU250 LAN port (subnetwork 192.168.0.x) is reserved for communication with SC150, SC160 and LV150 modules.

Hello Tomberry, I can't adjust the time of the computer that is monitoring the scada system using the NTP protocol of the T300. Please let me know about this.

T300 Can a normal computer be set to synchronous time?
SCADA is able to adjust the timing of other relays connected to the system.
