I need to download the settings from a large number of Sepam 2000 protection relays. The manual describes using the ACE 900 adapter to connect to the relay. Does anyone know if this adapter is available somewhere or what it actually does? Is it just a simple rs232/rs485 adapter of some sort?

Yes, the ACE900 adapter is necessary to establish an RS232 connection between a PC and the front panel of the SEPAM2000. It integrates both a signal converter and PC protection circuitry. However, it has been discontinued since 2015. We have one unit in our R&D department, which we preserve with great care.

Thanks alot , we still have much number of our legacy Sepam 2000 and we need at least to extract the logipam on the relays to merge to new models P7 for example .thanks in advance . is it also possible to use RS232 straight cable to do same function instead of ACE900 cable

Hello Kareem,
Could you please let me know how many ACE900 converters you need?
R&D has managed to locate a very old file related to this product, but we’re still searching for the Gerber files.
I also need to check with Marketing — specifically with Elif Dede — regarding this.
Best regards,
Laurent
